The mission of the Helsinki Music Centre Foundation is to promote and treasure different forms of music through performances, mainly at the Helsinki Music Centre. The Foundation awards grants and scholarships for events and acquisitions that promote its mission. The Foundation is a non-profit organisation. The foundation is chaired by Deputy Mayor Paavo Arhinmäki. The chief executive of the foundation is Kaisa Näreranta, project manager of the Helsinki Music Centre Foundation.
