A Small Reed Pipe

A reed pipe is sounded by a vibrating brass strip known as a reed, much like the clarinet, where the reed in the mouthpiece vibrates. With different reeds, the sound of the pipes can be made to imitate the sound of the trombone, trumpet, or oboe.
