The organ music donation campaign was launched in 2017 to support the construction of the organ in the concert hall of the Helsinki Music Centre. Thanks to the campaign’s numerous supporters, the new organ was completed and inaugurated in January 2024.
The campaign now ensures that this magnificent and unique instrument will continue to delight all music lovers. The funds raised through the donation campaign will be used to produce music and events featuring the organ at the Music Centre.
In the donation campaign, everyone has the opportunity to name one of the organ pipes in exchange for purchasing different campaign products. The proceeds from the campaign will be used to support music and events featuring the organ at the Music Centre. By contributing to this memorable project, you are supporting Finnish organ music.
You can participate in the organ music donation campaign as an individual, a business, or a community. The campaign is managed by the Helsinki Music Centre Foundation.
The original target sum to be collected from the campaign was €200,000. The money will be used to pay for music commissioned for the new organ and related events.
